Windward Cay is a well established, pretty, residential development. It is just a two minute drive from Mile Marker 14 on hightway 192 East. The area is surrounded by conservation woodland, and some of the homes back onto the lake, which is home to ducks and turtles. The homes, which are a mixture of residential and short term rental, are mainly situated on extra spacious lots, with well maintained gardens ( yards ).
Windward Cay is ideally located for local amenities such as supermarkets, WalMart and Publix are both ten minutes away, banks, doctors and dentists. The fabulous attractions are all close by
Disney, golf courses and shopping areas (such as Orlando Premium Outlets and Lake Buena Vista) are 15 minutes away.
The beautiful Gulf Coast beaches such as Clearwater Beach, and St. Petersburgh Beach are one and a half hours. Slightly closer, on the East coast are Melbourne Beach and Coco Beach.
The airports are within easy reach – Orlando International only half an hour, and Sanford, one hour.
Windward Cay is an excellent choice of location to stay in, to enjoy a wonderful holiday in Florida.
