Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club is a gated community situated on H27 just 15 miles from Disney World.
The golf course was ranked number 6 in Florida, in Golfweeks ‘America’s best course’s you can play’ March 2004.
For non-golfers, the facilities include tennis, fishing, a club swimming pool and children’s adventure playground.
The club house restaurant is open 7 days a week and offers a full selection of breakfast and lunch menu items including a Sunday morning breakfast buffet.
The area around Southern Dunes has a large selection of family and fast food restaurants, banks and local stores.
A huge 24 hour WalMart store is situated at the entrance to Southern Dunes where you can buy almost anything and for a change of scene, Eagle Ridge Mall is 15 minutes away with large stores such as Sears and J C Penney.
Southern Dunes has a very relaxed friendly atmosphere and is a wonderful step down from the fast and busy parks.
