These spacious living areas avail themselves to a variety of simultaneous activities -- quietly read a book (from our library’s inventory), or play a vigorous PS2 game match, or surf the Internet, or watch DVD movies or cable TV, or listen to your favorite CD; or just catch a few needed winks readying yourselves for the next power invasion of the local attractions and activities.The spacious family room offers a comfortable lounging area with a pull-out-sofa, love seat and two recliner chairs to enjoy cable TV or a DVD on a 32” TV.The living room offers a sofa, love seat and recliner, as well as the high speed Internet access home computer with flat screen monitor and a laser printer. A quiet place to relax; but if the office calls and work prevails, you can work comfortably on our computer desk, or bring your laptop and work to the pool deck utilizing our wireless connection. Free local, long distance, and international telephone calls to over 100+ countries (some country restrictions apply) can make your working time more efficient so you can get back to your vacation activities.Our fully equipped, eat-in kitchen with large working space supports all your culinary requirements. Grocery stores are 2 miles east and west of our home to supply your dietary needs and desires. Be creative in our kitchen or get your BBQ master chef to grill lunch or dinner on our gas grill. Dine in the kitchen or in our dining room. Both rooms open to the pool deck allowing you the third option to dine “alfresco” for any meal. The huge master bedroom suite includes a king size bed, walk-in closet with a combination safe to protect your travel documents and personal items, an en-suite bath with oversized stall shower and garden bathtub. A 27” TV/VCR provides in-bed viewing. The second large bedroom includes a queen size bed with TV. Both bedrooms have French doors that open to the pool deck. The interior bedroom houses two twin beds, a TV and Playstation2 system and 2 games. All bedrooms have ceiling fans.Our garage has room for 1 car with key pad entry and is stocked with a variety of pool floats, tubes, “noodles”, etc. This is a constantly changing inventory based on our guest’s purchases.Our home has a host of other features including a bonus room, which can be used as a children's den, as an additional sitting area or work area, or as another double twin bedroom. Pack light and make use of our washer/dryer plus iron and ironing board. Pack only the minimum….shorts, tee shirts, bathing suits, light pants, light jacket or sweatshirt (depending on the time of the year), sneakers/trainers, comfortable shoes and socks, toiletries. The most important of all your Florida needs is a hat, sun glasses and sun screen. If you forget some essentials, there is a Super Wal-Mart 10 minutes (4 miles) from our home. Leave lots of room in your suitcases for souvenirs!!!Our home has a key box entry and is equipped with a monitored security system for fire and theft providing complete peace of mind. Our efforts to continually improve, update, and maintain our home are sometimes not reflected in the above text. We comply with all regulations regarding smoke alarms and emergency lighting. They are responsible for maintaining our home to the highest standards and are available to answer your questions, or assist with any issues with our home which may occur during your stay. Jump in the car and decide which park to invade this morning. Enjoy the park for all we can, making full use of the Fast Passes and Single Rider lines at the most popular attractions for about 4 hours. Drive to the Publix Food Store for a freshly made-to-order sandwich and then back to our lanai for lunch, a dip in the pool, and nap…yes a nap! Jump back in the car for either an early dinner at one of our favorite eateries then onto Epcot for the laser/fireworks display…OR, decide which park to invade for the remainder of the day, making sure to arrive at one of our regular viewing spots in Epcot for the big show.Add to your MAGICAL VACATION MEMORABLE MOMENTS…ActivitiesOrlando/Kissimmee - A tourist’s dream…… Any vacation actiivity you may want is available in the Orlando/Kissimmee area.Known for its local attractions and theme parks, our home is within 10 minutes to Disney™, 20 minutes to Sea World® and 30 minutes to Universal Studios®.Not particularly an attraction park fan? Disney offers many alternates to “riding the rides”. Epcot hosts annual activities -in May/June – the Annual Flower and Garden Show; in October/November – Food and Wine Festival (one of my favorites); in late November/December – the Christmas Candlelight Processional and Christmas Story. Magic Kingdom offers Pirates Nights, Halloween Nights, and the Very Merry Christmas Party. There is always something special scheduled for the Disney Parks. !One of our favorites activities is the Universal Studios sponsored “Halloween Horror Nights” a must attend – really gets your adrenalin flowing!!Sports FansGolf anyone? There are 13 golf courses within 15 minutes of our home. Bring your clubs and play anything from a “Pitch and Putt”, “Par 3” or “Legends” courses. No matter what your skill level, there are courses to fit. Play a different course every day of the week. For the less experienced players, test your skills at the many MINI-GOLF courses –the newest course about 1 mile from our home. Car Racing Fan?The Daytona 500 is February’s biggest racing event and only about 1 hour’s drive from our home. Take part in the week long activities capped off by the big race on Sunday.Not quite what you had in mind???? Want to experience racing first hand???? Try the Richard Petty Driving Experience at Disney. Put your foot on the accelerator or drive with a professional… feel the power and the thrill!!Richard Petty Driving Experience.Baseball Fans? Fishing Fans?Enjoy fresh water fishing---our area has some of the state’s best fresh water/lake fishing locations. Bring your tackle and dip your line into some of the most beautiful stocked lakes in central Florida. Or if you prefer deep sea fishing – either east or west, you can sport fish in the Atlantic or the GulfWater Sports? Lakes are abundant as well as either the Gulf or the Atlantic. Rent a boat or charter one for a full day of water activities of jet skiing, sailing or sunning. Ever want to learn to surf? One of my guest’s kids had this experience….here are her comments:“…we did find a surf company. The kids had a great time, learned a lot about surfing and really liked their surf instructor. As well as helping them learn to surf, he gave them advice on what type of board to rent. We rented boards for them the second day at the beach and (after much hard work) they were able to get up and surf on their own. The waves were crashing really hard and many experienced surfers seemed surprised that the kids were able to get up in those conditions since they had just learned to surf the day before.” {L.B. from }Disney’s Wide World of Sports hosts a myriad of tournaments and activities throughout the year. For example, in February, Disney sponsored a women’s 3-day Field Hockey tournament, a high school cheerleading competition, and a flag football tournament on the same weekend! There are always activities at this enormous, extremely well-maintained sports facility.For the more devoted health enthusiasts there are Fitness Center/Gym facilities offering week memberships.Enjoy the theater or concerts?Kissimmee and Orlando have a variety of venues hosting live concerts and stage.
